...We send you a little tip with a big impact!
Do you feel a bit down after a somewhat bizarre Christmas?
For some of us, it might be a welcome break compared to the usual holiday craze.
But many of us are experiencing the holiday season alone, without loved ones, maybe for the first time. Zoom-gift sharing is a welcome substitute, but a substitute nonetheless.
If this is you, if you feel blue, tired of it all, this tip is for you:
Go on a Gratitude Spree!
Open a document on your computer, or, better yet, take a notebook and start a personal diary by listing everything you are grateful for. EVERYTHING!
Your favorite things.
The lessons from your least favorite things.
What you have.
What you don't have anymore, and don't miss.
What you love to do.
What you don't love to do, but are so glad when they're done!
Who you are.
Your talents.
What people tell you you're good at.
What you like about yourself.
What you might not like about yourself: the white hair that spells wisdom, the belly that says you had kids!
What you have achieved.
What you want to achieve.
The people in your life.
Those who were in your life...
It might sound silly on paper – you might even think it won't change your situation. But it will change the way you look at it. And as Wayne Dyer famously said:
When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
So, go on, give it a try – and let me know what you discover!
We wish you a happy second day of Christmas!
Stay tuned for your 3rd day of Christmas gift!
